Wondering why Ranbir Kapoor’s making such claims about his abode? Well, that’s because India’s heartthrob has so many televisions in his house that his posh Pali Hill bungalow named ‘Krishna Raj’ looks no less than a TV shop.

The young actor, who flew down to the capital on Tuesday, to unveil Panasonic’s latest range of flat panel televisions christened ‘Smart Viera,’ was at his candid best at the launch event. Dressed to kill with his nerdy glasses adding to his charm, the Kapoor lad talked about his passion for the idiot box. “I am thrilled at this launch. My house looks like a TV showroom, thanks to the amount of TVs Panasonic has gifted me,” exclaimed Ranbir.

Ranbir Kapoor is very involved with his forthcoming film Barfi, and hopes that the movie releases as scheduled.

According to sources, actor Ranbir Kapoor, who is much involved in Anurag Basu's forthcoming film Barfee, doesn't want the film to release without proper promotions. The film was supposed to release on July 13 along with Saif Ali Khan's Cocktail.

Apparently the film is yet to be completed and a major shooting schedule is yet to be shot. Now Ranbir doesn't want Anurag to finish the post-production work on the film hastily, and has thus suggested that the makers shift the release date.

Anyway, wanting to avoid the clash with 'Joker', they had planned to release Barfi on August 31, while Joker is set to release on July 27. On the other hand Shirish Kunder's Joker is ready and Akshay-Sonakhi's pairing has been getting popular due to their next film Rowdy Rathore.

There hasn't been an official announcement regarding the change od release dates, but if the above were to happen, it would prove to be a win-win situation for all.

Bollywood actors Ranbir Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor will perform together for the first time. Since the beginning of Hindi cinema, the Kapoors have been an integral part of the industry. Spanning over 80 years of contribution to entertainment, the Kapoor family have been named the first family of Bollywood.

And though the brothers have joined hands in many productions till date, the sisters have stayed away from the razzle dazzle. That of course changed when a fourth generation Kapoor, Karisma decided to take her first step into Bollywood. Today, Kareena Kapoor and her first cousin Ranbir are ruling the silver screen. However, due to reasons unknown, they have never united on screen. A fact that is soon going to change.

According to Indian media, Zoya Akhtar after the successful Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara last year has already started planning her next. And for that, the filmmaker has managed to pull off quite a casting coup. The film will see Ranbir and Kareena sharing screen space as brother and sister - the two protagonists in the film.

According to a source, Zoya has been busy with the script of the film for some time now. But only recently, she managed to convince Ranbir and Kareena to portray the lead roles. "Both Ranbir and Kareena were always aware that they couldn t pair romantically for any film. So for them to come together for any project, it needed to have an extraordinary script. Zoya narrated the idea to Kareena while she was shooting for Talaash. Kareena immediately loved it. Ranbir too has given it his consent. The film will now go on floors by the end of this year," said the source.

According to media a media sources, the film is about the relationship between a brother and a sister - an idea that has been exploited several times in the past. However, since the 1990s, the formula of the brother-sister bond died down.

"Zoya will be reviving the brother-sister relationship genre. And she has now managed to cast real life siblings Ranbir and Kareena for it," added the sources. Despite repeated attempts Zoya, Ranbir and Kareena remained unavailable for comment, the sources said.

Zoya Akhtar is reported to have signed first cousins, Kareena and Ranbir Kapoor for her upcoming film. They play siblings in the movie but both have the lead roles. Kareena loved the script and readily agreed to play the part. Ranbir has also given his green signal to the script. The latest buzz in Bollywood is that Ranbir Kapoor will play a vampire in the remake of famous Hollywood movie Twilight. According to the latest report, Ranbir Kapoor will play a blood sucker à la Robert Pattinson in the Hollywod remake of ‘Twilight’, the Hindi version of the film titled ‘Bloody Veer’. The film is going to be directed by Heeraaz Marfatia, who has worked with Shekhar Kapur and it’s believed to combine Wake Up Sid and Twilight.

A source close to Ranbir told a leading daily, “It’s a light-hearted funky venture and one could say its the coming together of Wake Up Sid and Twilight. It is about hip youngsters and a gang of friends. It’s a fun film with a dash of humour and
romance.”

“Ranbir Kapoor has not done this kind of a role and is pretty excited about playing a vampire and is going through the script,” the source further added. It will be quite exciting to see Ranbir in this kind of role as he hasn’t done anything of such as of now. The vampire theme has taken over the world and seems like every movie or TV show is becoming vampire based in the western world. Well now, it’s finally hit south east Asia as producer Siddhartha Jain has said to have finally found a vampire for Bloody Veer who is none other than Ranbir Kapoor.

The film is going to be directed by Heeraaz Marfatia, who has worked with Shekhar Kapur and it’s believed to combine Wake Up Sid and Twilight. Now, for any of you who have seen both films will know that they are complete opposites so we’ll have to wait and see how Bloody Veer turns out. It will be quite exciting to see Ranbir in this kind of role as he hasn’t done anything of such as of now. Now we must wait and see if Ranbir Kapoor will sparkle like Edward Cullen or growl like Jacob Black.

Sonakshi Sinha got a rocking debut with Dabangg alongside Salman Khan and will follow it up with big releases like Joker and Rowdy Rathore with Akshay Kumar. But it seems hobnobbing with older heroes have affected her chances of ever working with the younger lot. We say so because both Shahid  Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor apparently feel she will look older than them in films.

Now Sonakshi is aware that Shahid does have certain issues working with her and had reportedly walked out of Puneet Malhotra’s film because of that. Consequently, Sonakshi too declined to work with him in Vettai remake. Shahid had said that the actress would look more than her age opposite him in the film. This didn’t go down well with Sonakshi and now, they are not even cordial. But the fact that Ranbir too thinks the same way is supposedly news to her.
 
Sources say that she is very keen to work with people of her generation but her alliance to elderly group of actors is posing as a dampener here. Apart from Lootera with Ranveer Singh and Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai’s sequel with Imran Khan, Sinha is apparently not getting approached for movies with young lads. But do you need to care Sonakshi? You are working with the best in the business, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgan. We don’t think there is any need for you to worry as these actors will never age for public and you will never lose sheen for them.
